Brooklyn Basin, originally known as "Oak to Ninth", is a complex 64-acre mixed-use project, including 3100 housing units, retail, parks, marina, and high rise towers. The project is planned to be built out over the next 15 years under the terms of a development agreement between the developer and the City of Oakland.  The master developer for the project is Oakland Harbor Partners, a partnership of Signature Properties and Zarsion Holdings Group Co. Ltd of Beijing.

Status

The project has completed the permit and planning stages.  The site purchase by Oakland Harbor Partners closed escrow on 6/10/2013.  Ground breaking took place in March 2014.

The project will be built out in phases over the next 15 years under the terms of a development agreement between the developer and the City of Oakland.
